Manifest

Our manifesto is a description of the core attitudes we hold as a company; what we believe in, find community in, and thus work towards every day. The manifesto is not perfect or final but is, like us, under constant development.

The people behind

  • We appreciate whole people, who have a life and goals outside the company. Therefore, we treat everyone differently to create the best framework for each individual – in doing so, we actually treat everyone the same way.
  • We strive to ensure that precious human resources are used as effectively as possible. This means, among other things, that we believe in giving each person the right to take initiative and make decisions - otherwise, we're not moving forward.

The relations

  • We believe in long-term relationships and openness in our dialogue. Everyone will make mistakes, but if we are open about mistakes or desires for change, there is also an opportunity to create a new and better common future.
  • We believe that all well-executed work is based on trust between the parties involved; a clear agreement is better than a contract and as long as both parties want the collaboration and see the value in it, one can collectively find the best way forward.

Competences

  • We believe that high professionalism pays off in the long run. Therefore, we take pride in constantly challenging ourselves with different problems and technologies.
  • For us, it's about being solution-oriented, from the moment we walk through the door until we have reached our goal. Whether the solution is in VB, C#, Perl, Python, PHP, or something entirely sixth is not crucial for us. What is crucial is choosing the m

Experience and learning

  • Mistakes are a step towards new learning and knowledge – if shared with the community, everyone becomes wiser. Therefore, we make a great effort to see opportunities instead of challenges and to turn things positive!
  • We see it as our duty to share our knowledge and our experiences. This means contributing to the Open Source community, working with interns and students, and supporting various organizations with IT development.

At IT Kartellet, we are who we are and try neither to lie ourselves bigger or better than we are. We are creative software developers, passionate about creating new value-adding solutions in collaboration with a lot of other skilled people. No hocus pocus, no lengthy reports – just programming and problem-solving!
