History
IT Kartellet was started with the ambition to be the absolute best and to transform the way IT projects were conducted in Denmark, and indeed, the entire world. There was probably some youthful arrogance in those ambitions and belief in ourselves, but the fundamental attitude that we wanted to be the best is still deeply ingrained in our DNA. The stubbornness and fighting spirit are probably still there, but we now approach things more humbly.
We recognized from the start that if you want to be the best, you need to work with the best. This is the inspiration behind our name and our slogan; "Distortingly Competent." In all its simplicity, it means that we find the best developers and technicians and bring them together in a strong association aimed at solving difficult and intricate technical projects. We grow together, develop together, and have fun together!
Under our services, you can read that we don't deal in PowerPoints or lengthy reports, and the truth is that over the years, we should have focused our business more in specific directions. However, we are not particularly interested in the bottom line, strategies, and transformation plans. We are more interested in development, experiments, and above all, having fun. IT Kartellet has therefore been many things over the years. We have been behind various products, participated in projects for global giants and microscopic interest organizations – and the common thread has always been the good technical challenge.
Kollab
In 2019, KOLLAB came into the picture, as we shared and share a common view that competence makes a difference. We are therefore today part of KOLLAB, and although we operate under our own identity, we have gained a number of siblings that sharpen our competencies and give us far more tools in the toolbox.
At IT Kartellet, we are who we are and try neither to lie ourselves bigger or better than we are. We are creative software developers, passionate about creating new value-adding solutions in collaboration with a lot of other skilled people. No hocus pocus, no lengthy reports – just programming and problem-solving!
