Flemming Baarts, started as Senior Manager with us at Kartellet i spring 2023. Flemming brings a background from IBM,EG and LTI - and although we pride ourselves on doing things differently from many of the big ones, we look forward to learning a bit from a wise and experienced hand.

3 (fun) facts about Flemming

  • I have swum in an aquarium with 50K colorful fish as well as stingrays and sharks.
  • I have ridden a quad bike in the Dubai desert - and got separated from the guide - sand all around - and the sun right above - didn't know which way was north/south/east/west.
  • Took my 17-year-old nephew on his first skiing trip down south - on the first run from the peaks, he went straight off a steep cliff and fell 50-100 meters down. Luckily, he landed in soft snow - and came out unscathed.

What is my biggest internet achievement?

I spearheaded the setup of the website for the local soccer club where I was on the board. It included various features such as field bookings, etc.
