IT-Kartellet has implemented a site for the Agency for Digital Government over two phases. The first part of the project was initiated in 2017, and the reimplementation took place in 2019. Throughout the entire project, IT-Kartellet has been responsible for the operation, maintenance, and development of the site, which is based on a Drupal solution.

Behind the solution is a MySQL database, as well as an Nginx web server, which also functions as a reverse proxy and thus the first caching layer – ensuring good performance on the site during periods with many visitors. The site and modules are maintained through the use of Composer and Drush, which ensures a uniform and easy way to perform daily administration of the Drupal site.

The design was developed and delivered by ShiftCPH with input from IT-Kartellet, who were involved throughout the process to ensure that the delivered design could also be technically implemented without making the project unnecessarily expensive.

The site is built around a somewhat special navigation, as a series of OIO models actually function as navigation for the rest of the site's content, which is based on Drupal Views and a series of integrations through self-developed REST APIs in Drupal, which in combination with jQuery creates the foundation for a really good user experience.
