The collaboration between Saxo Bank and IT-Kartellet was not rosy from the start. There was pressure to achieve as quick a response time as possible. Saxo Bank had high expectations and therefore did not want an ordinary customer/supplier relationship. It has created a genuine and close relationship. From the beginning, an effort was made in the collaboration, and it was discussed what was desired in a partnership. We at IT-Kartellet caught on and established an informal, simple, and positive relationship without bureaucracy.
It involved a wide range of customizations to Moodle's appearance, functionality, and usability. A roadmap for the vision was developed, which the final result was built upon. Notes and ideas were converted into a lively and appealing system. It happened in a process with a lot of speed, where they at Saxo Bank continuously received inspiration and new ideas and opinions, which required changes. When new opportunities arise, they must be pursued to ensure needs and requirements are still met. Whatever they imagine, can become reality.

What IT-Kartellet has done for Saxo Bank
Developed the technological solution on Moodle's technical infrastructure for Saxo Bank's Trading Academy, http://academy.tradingfloor.com/.
In configuring the two Moodle sites, IT-Kartellet integrated the e-learning platforms with Saxo Bank's existing Single Sign-On solution, which is based on ADFS. PHP Simple SAML is used on the Moodle side for integration up against ADFS.
The solutions are powered by Amazon Webservice, which is qualitatively one of the leaders within cloud-based infrastructure.
IT-Kartellet is responsible for hosting and application support of the two Moodle sites. 24/7 support with a 1-hour response time is provided, and the solution is monitored by IT-Kartellet.
