Since 2017, IT-Kartellet has been responsible for the implementation, operation, and maintenance of the DJØF Publishing's e-commerce solution. The solution is based on Drupal and has integration with Navision and the underlying ERP system. Additionally, there are a number of integrations with industry-specific systems from the publishing sector, ensuring descriptions and products are correctly presented, and that products are published at the right time in their flow.

The design of the system has been developed and maintained by DJØF Publishing's design agency, which is managed by an in-house graphic designer. All elements of the site are developed so that the site can also be used for a number of subsites, which can create campaign pages for the individual professional themes being worked on.

DJØF Publishing hosts the solution themselves with an external hosting provider, but IT-Kartellet provides support for the application to ensure quick response times for both support and development work.

Drupal focuses on information sites but also operates based on best practice e-commerce principles with a view to conversion. During the period, a solution has been developed that allows the publishing house to display a number of distinct pages containing information about the individual books. This includes graphic optimization of the homepage and book pages, as well as ongoing optimization and maintenance.
