Aalborg Universitet
IT Kartellet, in close collaboration with Roskilde University Center and Aalborg University, has developed and launched an add-on module for the cross-university system for Digital Examination, which was to specifically handle multiple-choice exams.
The system was developed as a special installation of the Learning Management System (LMS) Moodle, which is the leading open-source LMS on the market.
The system was developed to include the following functionality:
- Fetch exam registrations from Digital Examination.
- Allow users to go through a multiple-choice within a specific timeframe, but with the ability to control the timeframe per user.
- Opportunity for teachers and examiners to assign grades, which are automatically transferred to Digital Examination.
- Easy creation of re-exams based on previous tests.
The system was deployed in two separate environments to ensure data security and to increase security during exam execution across the organizations.
